Blayne commenced working at the firm Grays Lawyers, Surfers Paradise, whereby Blayne's main duty was to service the firms largest client (a wealthy, private family and their various business interests).
On or about October 1998 Blayne and another lawyer formed the firm Ledger Nguyen Lawyers of Surfers Paradise. On or about 2001 Blayne acquired the other lawyer’s interest in the firm and rebranded the firm Ledger Commercial and Property Lawyers.
In 2007 the firm relocated from Surfers Paradise to Main Beach and became Ledger & Co Lawyers. On or about 2010 Blayne expanded the business and acquired the firm Barron & Allen Lawyers of Mackay a firm commenced around 1939 and which proudly boasts that a former partner of the firm is now a judge.
Blayne merged the two firms and then ran both legal practices being the Mackay office and Gold Coast office from 2010 to December 2015 by each week commuting between the offices in South East Queensland to Central Queensland. On or about December 2015 the Mackay office was sold to a husband and wife team of lawyers at Mackay and Blayne has retained the Gold Coast office of Barron & Allen Lawyers and whilst travelling up and down the east coast of Australia practices primarily from the Gold Coast.
The firm has practiced in a vast area of law including, property transactions, mortgage and lending, wills and estates, family law, commercial, corporate and property law and criminal matters. Blayne has 16 years of experience in acting in court and litigious matters and complex commercial and property transactions but now primarily practices in court matters and litigation as well as managing the firm and overseeing the other areas of law with the firms lawyers.
On a personal note, Blayne loves spending time with his wife Danielle and their three children Jack, Harrison and Ellie. In his spare time Blayne likes to travel overseas and or partake in a round of golf.

After graduating in 1994, Merv Morris has specialised for much of his legal career in commercial, property, estate and general areas of law to the benefit of his clients.
Having run a successful practice of his own with a number of other partners over 20 odd years, the challenge of being a Solictor and sounding board to his clients made the role at Barron & Allen Lawyers - Gold Coast too good to refuse.
Working closely with the firm's Principal, Blayne Ledger and the excellent support staff, Merv Morris can offer friendly, personalised service that so many lawyers seem to have forgotten how to do.
Merv is a very keen golfer in his spare time and is a dedicated follower of the mighty Hawks in the AFL.
Merv has two grown up children in Jalen and Natalie, proudly completing both study and work achievements.
19 years experience in Banking & Conveyancing
Jodi commenced working at Barron & Allen Lawyers in October 2018.
